Came here on a quiet Sunday. Everything down to the chips and salsa is so good! They make their own chips and dang I could overdose on those alone! My tummy was full and utterly satisfied when I left. The drinks and food are so good that thinking about it is making my mouth water!
If you want homemade authentic Mexican food, La Chapanita is the right place to go. My experience eating there was the best, the food and service was great and I left very satisfied. Definitely coming back.

Asada super nachos are darn good, 9/10. Chorizo quesadilla surprised me - also very good, 8/10. 2024-5 update: The super nachos is typically a good size for two people to share. My favorite meat is the adobada pork, yet the carne asada is also quite good. The majority of the time, the food is delicious and we really enjoy it. One experience recently where they had a mess: the portion was quite small, the food was cold, and it was just not what we have become accustomed to. When we called them to let them know, they were very willing to make it right and gave us a replacement order promptly. It was delicious And met our expectations. I appreciate that service. 2022 Dad and I shared the nachos (regular portion) and they were darn tasty. Huge amount of toppings: very flavourful adobada, cheese and veggies. Fresh-made tortilla chips. Rich, spicy salsas - red medium; verde hot. Two hungry guys only went through about 2/3 of the plate.

The verde enchiladas are my go to! So delicious. Every time I go in to pick up my food, everyone is always so kind. Have only been here three times but I plan to keep coming back for more. 10/10 would recommend.
Don't be fooled by the plain exterior, La Chapanita has delicious food. The chorizo in particular is worth the trip.
